At fictional Silver Marsh Health, a newly certified auditor named Rowan notices that most audit issues involve systems, access, and data quality. Rowan decides to learn basic data analysis and IT general controls. That makes future audits more useful because the team can test whole populations, identify unusual patterns, and ask better system questions.
