What should I say if someone in my study group asks what was tested?
`My group chat gets intense near exam windows, and people ask recent test takers what they saw. I do not want to sound rude, but I also do not want to cross an ethics line.`
Redirect the request without turning it into a confrontation. A clean response is:
"I cannot discuss what appeared on my exam, but I can help you review the public topic areas you are worried about."
Then move the conversation to a concept. For example, if the group is worried about AUD reports, practice identifying engagement type, assurance level, independence requirements, and report modifications from authorized materials.
This response preserves confidentiality and still contributes to the group. In ethics questions, the best answer often protects the rule while offering a legitimate alternative.
